THE CANADIAN PRESS/Jason Franson JF SMS Email Print Copy article link Save A second body has been recovered after a canoe overturned on a lake in the Alberta Rockies.RCMP say they were called on Saturday evening about a capsized canoe on Barrier Lake.The lake is about an hour's drive west of Calgary, in Kananaskis Country.Police say a 30-year-old Calgary man and his parents were in the canoe. RCMP said earlier this week that the body of a 60-year-old man had been found while a 56-year-old woman was taken to hospital with hypothermia.Police say the son's body was found on Wednesday by the RCMP's underwater recovery team.This report by °µÍø½ûÇø was first published Aug. 20, 2025. °µÍø½ûÇø.
