S&P/TSX composite down as oil moves lower, U.S. stock markets mixed

TORONTO - Canada's main stock index edged lower to cap off Friday's trading session, weighed down by losses in technology stocks, while U.S. markets were mixed. 

The S&P/TSX composite index was down 10.50 points at 27,905.49.
