NEW ORLEANS (AP) — Louisiana will seek to resume carrying out death sentences in the coming months after a 15-year pause, this time using nitrogen gas as the execution method, the state's attorney general said Tuesday.

Attorney General Liz Murrill told The Associated Press that she expects at least four people on death row to be executed this year. District attorneys have already begun trying to schedule executions for March.
