Former Nunavik police officer sentenced to seven years for sex crimes

MONTREAL - Quebec's police watchdog says a former Nunavik police officer has been sentenced to seven years in prison for sexual offences against four victims.

The Bureau des enquêtes indépendantes says Charlie Keelan was arrested in Sept. 2024 for offences that occurred between 1997 and 2020 when he was an officer in Quaqtaq, Nunavik.
